YEN.com.gh earlier reported the sad demise of Nigerian professional boxer Gabriel Olanrewaju during a Ghana Professional Boxing League undercard match, with the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control blaming the Ghana Boxing Authority.

The shocking incident happened when the 40-year-old collapsed mid-fight, and later passed away upon arrival in the hospital on March 28, 2025.

The medical autopsy on the late pugilist was done on February 2, but official results have not been given out.
