Controversial Ghanaian media personality Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has reacted after President John Dramani Mahama revoked Anne Sansa Daly's appointment as a National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) board member on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

In a letter from the Office of the President, the government announced that she was no longer under consideration for a role at the NHIA and that Prof. Dr. (Med) Ernest Yorke had been nominated to replace her with immediate effect.
The letter, addressed to the Minister of Health, directed that the necessary steps be taken to facilitate Prof Yorkeâs swearing-in to the board. The reason behind Daly's appointment revocation was not stated.
However, several reports indicated that the presidency revoked her appointment because of the recent scrutiny from health professionals and the general public over her representation as a medical doctor without a valid practicing licence in the country.
She was initially listed among a 17-member board, including Korle Klottey MP Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, who were sworn in by the Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
In response to his ex-girlfriend losing her appointment, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to express his excitement over the news.
The media personality shared a screenshot of the story from Citi FM's page and warned any individual who would pick a fight with him.

The popular journalist also claimed that he warned Daly, but she allowed his big rival, Kevin Taylor, to use her to tarnish his image publicly.
He wrote:
"My name is Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, think twice before you fight me. đâď¸. I warned you but you allowed your Kitchen cry baby boyfriend to use you."
In other social media posts, Okatakyie teased the medical professional and questioned the presidency for appointing her without doing a proper background check on her credentials.
Recently, the former Angel FM presenter raised questions about Daly's medical license amid his ongoing feud with US-based Ghanaian journalist Kevin Taylor.
In the past, he has accused her of working with Taylor to disparage and tarnish his reputation. In March, he alleged that she orchestrated his detention at the Cyber Crime Unit of the Ghana Police Service.
