Agradaa leaves the court after the sentence

This comes after she was charged with defrauding by false pretences, advertising money-doubling schemes, and duping church members.

In a video trending on social media, Agradaa was seen leaving the court premises with the company of some police officers.

Several bloggers and the media got closer to them to catch a glimpse of her and to also take videos of her, and potentially get the opportunity to get a few words from her.

For her court appearance, the controversial televangelist wore minimal makeup with red lipstick.

She wore no wig; however, her hair was braided into all back cornrows, and her edges were combed backwards as if it was being prepped for a frontal lace wig.

Many people called out Gossips24Tv for using Agradaa's rival, gospel singer Empress Gifty's top charting song, Watch Me, as the background music for the Instagram video.

Others also empathised with the controversial televangelist, noting that her 15-year sentence was harsh considering the crimes she was being charged with.

Agradaa does a pregnancy test

YEN.com.gh reported that controversial Ghanaian televangelist and founder of Heaven Way Champion International Church, Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, was convicted of fraud.

She appeared visibly downcast during her recent court appearance ahead of her sentencing. A video capturing the moment police officers escorted her from the courtroom went viral, sparking widespread reactions online. Reports indicate that she was taken for a pregnancy test following the court proceedings.

Agradaa’s conviction stems from a televised event she held in 2022, where she falsely claimed to have spiritual powers to “double money” for people. Many who attended the event later accused her of scamming them, which led to her arrest and eventual conviction.
